Privacy Policy
FeedLock
FeedLock blocks feeds on your phone. It uses Android's Accessibility service only to recognise the apps and feeds you chose to block so it can close them; it never records, stores or sends what you see or type. Your rules, sessions, screen time and stats stay on your device. There is no account and no ads. The app reports anonymous crash reports, usage events and performance data to Google Firebase (usage and performance reporting can be switched off in Settings; crash reports cannot) and registers a push token so we can send announcements. No screen content, typed text or names of your apps are ever sent. Purchases are handled by Google Play, and the app downloads a public list of feed signatures so blocking keeps working when apps change.

This Privacy Policy explains how MobileMint (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the FeedLock mobile application (the “App”). It applies to the App only. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We are deliberately minimal about data. The App collects only what is described below, and nothing more:

| Rules, sessions and stats (on device) | Your block list, schedules, daily limit, session state, blocked-attempt counts and streak are stored locally on your phone and deleted when you uninstall. |
| Purchases | Subscriptions and one-time unlocks are processed by Google Play. FeedLock checks your purchase on the device; we never receive your payment details. |
| Usage events | Anonymous events such as which FeedLock screens are opened, that setup finished, which permissions were granted, whether a session was strict and roughly how long (for example 1h), why it ended, which upgrade screen was shown and whether a purchase completed. Never the content of your screen, what you type, or the names of your apps. You can switch this off in Settings > Privacy. |
| Crash and performance diagnostics | If the app crashes or runs slowly, the device model, Android version, app version, app language and a stack trace are sent so the fault can be fixed, along with start-up and network timings. Crash reports are always on; performance data can be switched off in Settings > Privacy. |
| Push token | A Firebase Cloud Messaging token lets us send occasional announcements from the Firebase console. It identifies your installation, not you. |
| Feed signature updates | The app periodically downloads a small, public, signed file that describes how to recognise each feed. The request contains no data about you or your usage beyond what any web request carries (such as your IP address). |
| Device admin (optional) | If you turn on uninstall protection, FeedLock becomes a device admin only so it can't be removed during a strict session. It uses no admin policies: it cannot lock, wipe or monitor your device. |
How we use information
We use the information above solely to operate, maintain, and improve the App — for example, to provide its core features, keep it stable by diagnosing crashes, and understand which features are useful in aggregate. We do not use your information for profiling unrelated to the App, and we never sell it.
Analytics
The App uses privacy-conscious analytics to collect aggregated, anonymous information about usage and stability. This helps us fix bugs and decide what to build next. These analytics are not used to identify you personally.
Third-party services
We rely on a small number of trusted service providers. Each processes data only as needed for the purpose listed and under their own privacy policy:

Data storage & security
Your in-app content is stored locally on your device by default. No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, or loss.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because the App stores your content on your device, you can remove it at any time by clearing the App's data or uninstalling it. To exercise any right, email us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.
Data deletion
Everything FeedLock stores lives on your phone, so deleting it is immediate and needs no request to us. The anonymous Firebase data is not tied to your name or an account; uninstalling stops any further reporting and Google deletes it on its normal retention schedule.
- 1If a strict session is running, wait for it to end (or use the cooldown).
- 2If you turned on uninstall protection, switch it off in FeedLock's Shield tab.
- 3Uninstall FeedLock. Your rules, sessions, screen-time cache and stats are removed with it.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the App and for legitimate legal or operational reasons. Anonymous, aggregated analytics may be retained to understand long-term trends. When you delete your data, we remove it from active systems promptly and from backups within a reasonable period.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date below and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
