About Japan Train Card Balance Check

Hold your Japanese transit IC card to the back of your phone and your balance appears at once — no internet, no account, no queue at the station machine. Suica, PASMO, ICOCA, and the other cards on the same network all work.

Your card only remembers its last 20 journeys. This app remembers every one it has ever seen, so your history keeps growing long after the card has forgotten. Each trip shows the stations you entered and left by name, the fare, and the balance you were left with. Japanese first, with English available, and it works entirely offline — the app can read your card but can never change it.

Instant balance

Hold your Suica, PASMO, or ICOCA to the back of your phone and the balance appears at once.

History that outlasts the card

The card keeps 20 journeys; the app keeps every one it has seen, building a history the card itself cannot hold.

Real station names

Trips show the stations you entered and left by name — and an honest "unknown" when a code is not in the table, never a guess.

Offline and read-only

No account and no server. Your card data stays on your phone, and the app can never write to your card.
