About Voice Recorder
Voice Recorder is built for the recordings you cannot afford to lose. It captures through a foreground service, so the recording keeps running when you switch apps or lock the screen, and it handles interruptions properly — an incoming call pauses the capture and resumes it afterwards instead of silently ending it.
Everything happens on your phone. Recordings are written straight to your device's storage, transcription runs locally on the device rather than on a server, and no account is ever required. The app is free and ad-supported, and Pro removes every ad and unlocks transcription, markers, capture settings, and batch export.
